Position Description


With guidance from the NSRP Extended Team Coordinator, coordinates, plans, and executes processes in support of the NSRP’s primary technology transfer function.  Additionally, an administrative focus point for execution of tasking from NSRP Executive Director and Deputy Director for Executive Control Board (ECB) matters. 

 

Essential Functions

Primary duties are to effectively facilitate efficient operation of the NSRP Panel Operations for all NSRP panels with elected Chairs and Vice Chairs, individual panel By-laws, quarterly individual and/or joint panel meetings, and the biennial All Panel Meeting.  Coordinate and de-conflict event (venue) planning, which is executed at the ATI corporate level, with NSRP program-specific panel operations requirements:

·        Develops for approval, manages and updates annual Panel Operations budget

·        Assists in the maintenance of cost/schedule baselines to update software files as appropriate

Assists Executive Director and Deputy Director with management of tasking from ECB and government NAVSEA Program Manager including, but not limited to:

·        ECB/NAVSEA PM bio management

·        Quarterly ECB meeting support: Agenda, venue logistics, invitations/RSVPs, handouts

·        Develops for approval and manages ECB administrative budget

Principal facilitator and primary liaison for program-wide events including, but not limited to:

·        Sea-Air-Space

·        Biennial ONR ManTech Ship Tech symposium

·        Biennial NSRP All Panel Meeting

·        NSRP Day at NAVSEA

·        SNAME Annual Meeting

 

Responsible for updating and maintaining configuration control on NSRP branding materials.

Reviews the content of program website, brochures, posters, and newsletters, and advises program team members of needed updates and maintenance.

Assist Extended Team Coordinator with management of NSRP Extended Team (MITLs, NSRP Shipyard Delegates)

Develops sufficient program knowledge to effectively interface with team members and clients.

Assists in the maintenance of work breakdown structures (WBS) and related dictionaries.

Reviews invoices for accuracy and appropriateness.

Performs data entry of incurred costs and calculates cost variances.

Assists with project schedules.

Identifies and assesses potential contracting and financial risks on an on-going basis and reports to the Extended Team Manager.

Drafts panel meeting minutes and distributes the approved minutes.

Performs data entry of financial information in support of reporting requirements.

Provides Program Manager with support and assistance including drafting program-related correspondence, reports, and task descriptions.

 
Additional Responsibilities

Assists with the development of the content of project proposals, technical reports and white papers as needed.

Assists with the execution of technology transfer from projects as assigned.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and two years related experience, Associate’s Degree and four years related experience or High School and eight years of related experience.

Minimum of two or more years’ experience working in a program support role.

Exceptional computer skills, including MS Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook; Access, MS Project, and MS Windows environment.

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing. 

Demonstrated experience and skill in writing, editing and formatting documents, and finalizing preparation of presentation materials.

Experience working as a member of a team of people engaged in tasks requiring teamwork and adherence to schedules.

Ability to travel at company discretion.

This position is located in an air-conditioned, environmentally controlled atmosphere.Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and the distraction level in the work environment is often heavy.
