Position Description

ATI is looking for a Senior Manager, Business Services to support the Senior Vice President, Business Services in overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations across the company.  The Senior Manager, Business Services will offer fresh perspective and new ideas to improve functional processes that impact operational efficiency and effectiveness.  The Senior Manager, Business Services will lead the efforts of cross-functional teams comprised of representatives from divisions and departments throughout the company to complete a wide range of operational, administrative and business tasks.

A great business services senior manager possesses excellent communication and organizational skills as demonstrated by work experience in both organizational management and communications roles. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures and will actively seek to streamline and/or centralize repetitive processes to improve company efficiency and effectiveness.  

A successful Senior Manager, Business Services will ensure all business service and support activities are executed in a timely and effective manner so as to support core business activities.

ATI's standard business hours are Monday-Friday 8 AM - 5 PM.

Essential Functions

Develop, revise and maintain new policies, procedures and internal management systems that streamline day-to-day operations and increase organizational effectiveness.

Diagnose and develop corrective action plans in response to operational issues that arise.  Coordinate efforts with the Senior Vice President for Business Services to implement procedures to reduce the frequency of recurrence.

Improve program and service quality by devising new management processes and systems, updating procedures and evaluating outcomes with users.

Collaborate with corporate, division, and cross-functional teams to understand and align organizational needs, timelines, and key milestones.

Work in close collaboration with all division and department support staff across the company to develop and implement consistent, standardized processes and procedures to enhance organizational efficiency.  Coordinate efforts with the Program Management Office to reduce redundant and duplicated processes that impact efficiency.

Support the CEO and CEO’s Executive Assistant in the engagement of the ATI’s Board of Directors and Leadership Advisory Board.

Ensure the smooth and adequate flow of information within the company to facilitate efficient and effective business operations.

Develop and maintain effective correspondence filing and retrieval systems.  Oversee the ongoing implementation of company-wide retention and destruction policies.

Prepare draft presentations, articles and correspondence on behalf of ATI executives to support recurring and special events.

Serve as the liaison between division and department support teams and company leaders, communicating needs and concerns so they can be resolved in expeditious and appropriate manner.

Supervise personnel, if assigned, in the execution of their daily activities providing feedback on and evaluation of their performance on a routine basis.

Coordinate the collaboration among key stakeholders across ATI to deliver on strategic goals for integrated operational initiatives.

Coordinate corporate facilities requirements with ATI’s landlord to ensure all business needs are met in a timely manner.

Participate in or observe all company integrated process team meetings to ensure stakeholder needs are represented and action plans/results shared, as necessary.

Participate in meetings and events on behalf of the Senior Vice President, Business Services in his absence, as required.

Perform other special projects, duties and responsibilities as directed.

Undergraduate degree required.

Detail-oriented, able to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Creative, adaptive, and responsive approach to relationship management highly preferred.

A strong team mentality and an interest in the success of colleagues.

Strong verbal and written skills to effectively communicate with donors, prospects, and partners.

Highly skilled in MS Office and other computer applications including word processing, presentation and spreadsheet software.

Ability to interact with all levels of internal and external customers with highest level of professionalism in a fast-paced and confidential environment.

Skilled at planning, prioritizing, organizing, and following through priorities.

Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and must be highly focused.

Instinctual problem-solver with honed diplomacy skills.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively in a fluid, fast-paced environment, lead projects, meet multiple concurrent deadlines, and organize time and priorities.

Strong orientation towards customer service (internally and externally).

Ability to collaborate and work well as a member of a team.

Excellent interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills.

Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, and exercise discretion and sound judgment.

The ability to work effectively with other staff and to follow approved ATI procedures and policies.

Must be a U.S. citizen by birth or naturalization, or a green card lawful U.S. permanent resident, or a political asylum in the U.S. Individual must meet the definition of a U.S. person upon hire due to the risk assessment of this position.

Must successfully pass a background check to access sensitive information and automated systems.
