ATI's standard business hours are Monday-Friday 8 AM - 5 PM.

Our office is located at 315 Sigma Drive, Summerville, SC 29486. Flexible work hours may be available once fully trained.

Essential Functions

  • Under guidance from the Program Manager, manages many of the activities of customer projects.
  • Reviews government statements of work and evaluates for accuracy, content and cost.
  • Establishes, maintains and reviews project cost/schedule baselines.
  • Tracks and controls changes to the project budget by projecting estimates at completion (EACs).
  • Adapts the ATI financial management processes to the unique needs of customer projects.  Develops the measurements and analyses to integrate scope, costs, and schedule measures and assess performance.
  • Reviews invoices for accuracy and appropriateness and evaluates cost variances.
  • Develops and maintains project schedules.
  • Develops project execution plans, assigns project resources and milestones, and controls schedule changes and variances.
  • Provides collaborative leadership, facilitation and interface among supported customers, vendors and users.
  • Tracks project progress and deliverables to ensure timely submission.
  • Prepares technical and financial reports for Program Manager approval and submission.
  • Establishes, maintains and reviews statements of work (SOW), work breakdown structures (WBS) and related dictionaries.
  • Evaluates Project Status Reports (PSRs) and determines management actions required execute the project as planned.
  • Anticipates, evaluates and proposes risk mitigation solutions.
  • Prepares content of project proposals, including the management, statement of work, work breakdown structure, and resource allocation sections.
  • Prepares and presents project reports at program reviews and conferences.
  • Provides direct support to the client’s program office when directed by the Program Manager.
  • Provides technical expertise to the business unit and technical management of projects.
  • Plans, convenes, and facilitates project team meetings, either on-site or virtual. 

Additional Responsibilities

  • Interacts daily with Business Unit Manager, Program Manager, and Contracts personnel, senior technical personnel, and ATI management.
  • Coordinates technology transfer for projects as assigned.
  • Identifies and assists in targeting related opportunities and leverages funds from other organizations.
  • Assigns tasks to Management and Program Assistants.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the program and business unit managers.


  • Bachelor's Degree and four or more related year's of experience or equivalent combination of experience and training or a Master's degree and two or more year's related experience or equivalent combination of experience and training
  • Minimum of three or more year’s direct experience in the operation, planning and performance of collaborative programs and projects.
  • Project and process management experience, as well as prior experience in proposal planning and preparation, desired.  PMP Certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience as a presenter, technical report writer, meeting planner and facilitator.
  • Experience with government programs desirable.
  • Independent self-directed worker, team player, problem solver and experienced leader.
  • Excellent communication skills, including presentations, technical reports, meeting management and work group management.
  • Prior experience working in multi-organizational teams.
  • Strong computer skills including advanced Excel skills,MS Office Suite, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and MS Project
  • Ability to travel to conferences and meetings, including some weekends.
